You never know what you might find here now a days…. today I led a club ride with the Fredericksburg Cycling Club and one member, Bob, brought 8 of his homing pigeons and released them before the start. They fly 50-60 mph and their one predator, hawks, can be a challenge.
After they are released they circle the area for about 3 mins and then get their bearings and head home. I assume they enjoy it…I did watching them!
