HAM Radio (KU3C)

KU3C is my amateur radio call sign.  I started out as K0RWB but when I upgraded my license in 2012 I changed my call sign to a 2+1 call sign reserved for extra class radio operators.I first got my license in 2008, primarily for use in Search and Rescue while I lived in Colorado Springs, CO. I then got interested in further public service events where HAM radios support the community. I have also ventured out into the HF bands, logging contacts around the world.

My Shack (2011-2018) — Kenwood TS2000 100W

This was my Ham shack until I retired…now I am QRP mobile with the ICOM 705 and WRC antenna as well as an EFHW Wire Antenna used with either a fiberglass mast or a throw bag into a tall tree! The picture below is an example of my mobile shack now! 🙂

QSL Card Page – Pictures of the cards I have received. A QSL CONFIRMS a contact has been made by two radio operators.
