Honda Pacific Coast

1998-2000

The Honda Pacific Coast, or better known as the PC800, is a cult bike. First made in 1989, it was actually discontinued in 1992 and 1993, before being reborn in 1994. 1998 appears to have been the last year for the Pacific Coast as it in not in Honda's 1999 or 2000 line up. I used to own a 1998 model and I have no qualms about its passing; I was a member of an elite crowd of happy owners who swear by this bike. Its perfect for commuting as it has a trunk! It is great around town, and is equally good for long distance touring.

Whatever you make think about its looks or performance, PC owners are a great bunch and have their own little piece of the world on the Internet. . From there you can also find out about the Pacific Coast List Server. The web page provides access to archived information for the last 5 years while the List Server provides real time advice and conversation about the PC. Most members think the List Server is invaluable and some say its better than the owners manual!
